You can choose to add an extra two feet of length and four square feet of countertop space to your Unity outdoor kitchen appliance unit. What you can add in that extra space is shown below:

How to Use Unity Plus Corner Units

Plus corner units allow theUnity G Plus Gas Grill Island Module to turn a corner or create a return, making it easy to connect adjacent modules and shape your kitchen layout without redesigning the core unit.

Grill & Appliance Compatibility

Every Unity GX grill module ships with a built-in gas grill that is already engineered to fit the masonry opening. There’s no cutting, no guesswork, and no risk of discovering late in the project that a grill doesn’t sit correctly or can’t be serviced once installed. The most common point of failure in outdoor kitchens is handled upfront.

Built-in gas grills are far more similar than most people realize. Burner layouts, valves, fuel requirements, and safety standards are tightly regulated, which means performance differences are often incremental—not foundational. Designing an outdoor kitchen around a random grill choice frequently leads to layout compromises, fit issues, and long-term service headaches. Unity flips that script by starting with the correct module and function, then matching the appliance to a kitchen system that’s already designed to work.

An upgraded Pro option is available for those who want additional features, but both configurations are chosen for durability, serviceability, and long-term ownership—not novelty.

Other appliances remain flexible within the Unity system:

  • Kamado grills may be customer-supplied; most large-format Kamados fit standard Unity openings
  • Pizza ovens and specialty appliances can be used when dimensions are confirmed
  • Customers who prefer a zero-stress path can source compatible appliances directly through Cornerstone

The goal is simple: design the space correctly first, then match appliances to a kitchen that already works.
