reviews

A hybrid between a fireplace and a fire pit, the Spire is a functional fire-containing sculpture that stands an impressive seven feet tall. This exciting new fire feature mimics an old-world tower ruin. It will be the center of attention at your backyard barbeque. It is also great for burning limbs and debris around the yard.

  • Architectural ruins look makes bold centerpiece.
  • Nominal dimensions: 52″W x 52″D x 7’T
  • Large arched opening is 32″W x 24″T
  • Raised hearth is 12″tall
  • 8″ Thick solid masonry walls
  • Keeps smoke out of your eyes
  • Top of fire access
  • Low maintenance

The Fire Spire is not your typical fire feature. Though it is a unique combination of a fire pit and a fireplace, it differs from both. Read below to find out what makes this build unique.

Functionally a Fireplace
The Fire Spire is most like a fireplace. It is only a few inches shorter than our Bremley fireplace. The width and depth is similar, too. Thus, plan its placement as you would a fireplace.

Though it is round, you do not sit around it like a fire pit. With a front facing opening, the Fire Spire is directionally oriented like a fireplace. The opening and height are similar to a fireplace, and the tall form factor keeps smoke out of your eyes, unlike a fire pit. The Fire Spire does not restrict a column of hot air, so it does not draft like a traditional fireplace.

Operationally a Fire Pit
There is no firebrick lined firebox, hearth or mantel. Tou interact with the fire through the arched opening more like a fire pit. This simple design not only lowers cost, it makes the Fire Spire easier to maintain. With the floor a a fire pit, you can use the tower multiple times before needing to clean its “firebox.”

The open top design allows access to the top of the fire. The notches in ruin are designed to allow easy acces to warm your hands, place grilling accessories, and access the fire from the top. The tower ruin design is a functioning large fire pit with chimney that allows easy fire access while keeping the smoke away.

Fire Pits come with Premium Features Standard

Your fire tower kit has been designed up to a standard of excellence and safety. We don’t design down to a price point. See what is included in our kits that make them more than just your party centerpiece.

Top of Fire Access

The top of our Fire Towers is reminiscent of an old furnace or castle ruins. Their unique design isn’t just for looks and keeping smoke from your eyes. The open top allows access for hanging kettles or dutch ovens.

12″ Safety Ring

Your safety is our top priority. Therefore, we include a 12″ fire ring to prevent log rollout. This lip will still allow easy access to your fire. The diameter is the same as the footprint all the way up.

Arched Front Opening

Made by practicing traditional masonry techniques, the arched entry is both strong and decorative. Creating a fire chamber allows you to place this where firepits can’t go.
